This event was held on the eve of the poverty alleviation day and aimed at mobilizing and guiding social forces to actively participate in poverty alleviation in the aided areas. On the day of the event, a total of 243 enterprises and social organizations of various types from Beijing actively donated money, materials, and posts to the Beijing Poverty Alleviation Cooperation Area. A total of 478 million yuan was donated, and 11,000 people were donated for job training and jobs. It is understood that since the beginning of this year, Beijing has organized more than 10 mobilization promotion meetings in various fields, including Internet + targeted poverty alleviation, tens of thousands of enterprises helping tens of thousands of villages, and sales of poverty alleviation products in Beijing, guiding 1,050 state-owned and private enterprises and 506 in Hebei and Inner Mongolia. Poverty villages establish a paired assistance relationship to carry out industrial poverty alleviation and employment in the local area.
As a municipal state-owned enterprise, the company resolutely implements the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee on winning the precise battle against low levels, and actively fulfills the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises to help poverty alleviation. The company’s leaders attach great importance to the “precise assistance” plan. Since this year, the company has signed a “one enterprise to one village connection” assistance agreement with Baihutou Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. During the docking period, the company organized more than 10 special poverty alleviation work conferences, and the company leaders went to Baihutou Village 7 times to investigate the docking work, and helped 38 low-income villagers and 66 people in total, making positive contributions to the local poverty alleviation work.
At present, the company has started to formulate a three-year plan for targeted poverty alleviation work.
