On March 16, the one-month "Low Carbon Life" Green Charity Month at the National Convention Center officially set sail. The rich content and splendid charity month activities focused on mobilizing corporate employees and all sectors of society to participate in low-carbon and energy-saving, focusing on popularizing the concept and knowledge of ecological civilization, and promoting the formation of a social trend of energy conservation, green consumption and low-carbon environmental protection.

The "voyage" of this charity month event will go through three stops, and the first stop will arrive at the "Ant Forest" green energy donation. By joining the “Ant Forest” charity action through Alipay, each person’s daily walking steps, offline payments, and living expenses can be directly converted into energy, which can be used to give the “National Convention Center, forward” colleague Lin’s Xiaoxiao Tree watering. When these virtual saplings grow up, a real tree will be planted in the Alxa area.

The second stop will go to the production site of the "Low Carbon Life" handwritten newspaper. Companies will use departments as units to produce handwritten reports on low-carbon life, spread the concept of green environmental protection, and promote the formation of a green lifestyle.

The destination of the third stop is "Earth Hour". The National Convention Center and the National Convention Center Hotel will participate in the "Earth Hour" event for the seventh consecutive year, turning off exterior landscape lights and some indoor area lighting for one hour, actively adhering to the attitude and determination of environmental protection and energy conservation.

The 2018 National "Two Sessions" government work report pointed out that "we must work together to build a beautiful China with blue sky, green land and clear water." The National Convention Center actively responded to the call, fulfilled its environmental protection commitments, worked hard to practice the concept of green development, and made every effort to promote low-carbon life.
